Hello I am Damiano 10 years old.

I just finished my science project about exercise.Its a poster that tells people what happens if you don't exercise and what happens if you do exercise.The first article goes like this:If you don't exercise and stay inside and watch tv and play computer.Then you would never be strong and you can't do stuff.So listen to me and do daily laps round your house.But if you don't want to run daily laps then just play outdoor games like:football,swimming,basketball,cycling,posion and medicne,hide and
seek block out,tag and racing.

Chengelo school

Hi Giuseppe. you may have heard me from the other messages. I was in homeschool for 2 years before moving on to Chengelo. Chengelo is found in Mkushi and is a boarding school. French, numeracy, literacy, social studies, religous studies, science, art and many more are the subjects we learn! The horse riding instructers teach you all about equitation. the horse are: Drambuie, Classic, Foxy, River, Seekers, Maggie, Angel, Tsar, Napoleon, Histar, Canna, Bossy, Sasha and Sport. Chengelo has lots of diffrent kinds of sport some of them are Football, basketball, cricket, tennis, swimming and rugby. My best friend is Adam Sherriff in grade 6, I go to his house for the free weekends. By Giuseppe

The horse ride

Hi, this is my story: It was my first time on a horse.The horse was a pony. Her name was Stella. It was amazing. Even my friends Celia and Adam went on horses.Then I went on a bigger horse named Little boy.He was 20 years old. I had to be led by Giuseppe. But I still had a lot of fun.
My friend Adam has 4 dogs which like chasing the horses. Thier names were Dragon or The barrel,Blake,Gapye and Didi.
Adams place is a few kilometers from Mukushi.

Lionboy The Chase

This book has 320 pages.It has a picture at the front and the back.It starts when charlie(The main character)was in Africa.He was a baby.They were in the south of Accra,in the jungle.He was tied to the back of his dad.Then he heard a howl of a Jaguar and went there.The Jaguar was Injured and also it's baby was hurt.Charlie then was cut.The baby Jaguar came near then Charlie and the baby Jaguar mixed blood.....so now Charlie can speak cat.
One day charlie returned home from school and found his parents gone so he ran away and joined the circus.He worked in the lion shed.There were 6 beautiful lions that looked homesick.So Charlie promised that they would escape.So they escaped and went to venice then to Essariau.In Essariau he met his mum and dad.Then he got capured and was sent to San Antonio.If you want to know what next read Lionboy the truth.

TITLE DIARY OF A WIMPY KID
AUTHORS NAME JEFF KINNEY

This book is fiction. It is the funniest book i have read from 44 books.
There are a lot funny pictures in the book, the pictures makes the story vary interesting. My favourite character is Greg because he's clever and really funny. I would recommend this book to my friend Peter is leaving in Canada.

Starting School

On Monday we started school. We have a new humanities teacher. His name is Mr.Alan. He comes every Monday and Tuesday to teach us. He teaches us from 8:00 to 9:00 hrs. Mr.Alan is very kind.
Another thing I have to tell you is that we painted the school blue, light blue. It looks beautiful.

The homeschool trip to luangwa

At the beginning it didn't seem much fun.Then we saw a hippo out of the water.It was eating.Then we continued on.We saw some beautiful gazelle.We even saw a waterbuck.Later on the ride near luangwa river we saw some lions gazing at the sun.A few minutes later they stared moving towards us we backed up.They came closer and closer,we backed up more. then we stopped and we saw a big lion right were I was.
It was very scary.But we survived.

homeschool holiday

August Filippo and Damiano had them holiday from the school, we just completed year 4 now we'll be ready in September to start year 5, a big challenge for me, for my English! I'll just learn with them, little by little even if sometimes it's so frustrate for me, but I have such a good boys, they always forgive the mum!!

The boys went camping with some friends for a week, also Giuseppe was with them, they had a lot of fun although was really a challenge for Filippo and Damiano sleeping on the tent, not having hot shower, little budget for food..., any way they survived! Was them first time camping and sharing with other kids.

We also managed to go for a trip on the South Luwangwa National Park, was really cool! We saw a lot of animals, 13 lioness so close to us!, was just amazing!

Welcome to the homeschool Chipata!

Four years ago I started the home school with my 3 boys, one in year 4 and the twins year 1. I didn't choose to do home school, I started because in Chipata the International School closed down. So, what to do? Move from here after so many years? We've been in Africa already 13 years, the children grow up here, we like here.
We are from Italy and we arrived in Zambia in 1998 to work in a Catholic Mission like volunteers, and we are still here, in the mean time we moved from the bush were we stayed, in a little town for sending the first born at the International School until they closed the school.
Now we are still here, Giuseppe, the first born, is now in a boarding school but myself I'm still doing home school with the twins. Happy to do that! Even if it was hard, being a teacher and mother at the same time, and a big challenge for me, teaching English when at thet time i didn't know well English!! With my husband we decided to follow the English curriculum. the one that we chose is excellent and really is helping me a lot, I had a tutor in England so the work of the boys are assessed every 4 weeks, and my work as well!! I'm really thankful doing home school, I'm spending so much time with my children, I'm learning with them, day by day. Day by day my English is improving together with them English. I never thought to be able to this!

If you do home school you don't need to send your children to boarding school.I also am at home school.Who ever chose to be in the home school blog I should tell you a tip if you are bad to your children they would want to leave and go to anther school. so I advise you to be good to your children, don't get angry when they do something wrong.Don't tell them that you are doing horrible or they will stop and not do anything.
